Our Facility

Stone and Steel Gym is a 5,500 sq ft training facility located downstairs at 6 Main Street in the heart of downtown Potsdam, NY. Stone and Steel is fully stocked with a wide array of commercial grade strength and cardio equipment. Check this page for photos of our equipment closer to open.



Other amenities include a private bathroom, private changing room, and lockers.

The Leaderboard

The gym's leaderboard tracks the gyms best for the Big Four barbell lifts: Overhead press, bench press, squat, and deadlift for both men and women. To get on the board just have gym staff witness your lift in person, or send in a video that both clearly shows the lift and  the amount of weight on the bar.

Additional Rules:
Overhead Press: Strict press only, no push press, no split jerk.
Bench Press - The buttocks must stay on the bench during the lift, the barbell must clearly touch the chest.
Squat - The top of the hip crease must be parallel to or below the top of the knee.
