Tim grew up on a family farm outside of Syracuse, NY. He moved to St. Lawrence County to attend SUNY Canton and Clarkson for Mechanical Engineering and quickly decided to make this region his home. Tim worked as a Software Developer at Frazer Computing for 13 years before founding Stone and Steel Gym in 2024. 

More a natural mathlete than natural athlete, Tim didn't start lifting until his early 30's when he was dragged to the gym by a coworker. Over time he fell in love with lifting after realizing its mental and physical health benefits first hand. An unabashed nerd, Tim uses science based training principals in pursuit of physical capability and longevity.
